We are pleased to welcome Court Klein, CPA, CGMA, to our team of certified public accountants. He is a 14-year veteran of the accounting industry, and joins the firm as a Manager.
“We knew as soon as we met Court that he would be a great fit, both for our clients and for his new colleagues at Howe, Riley & Howe, because he is so integrated into the community,” said Peter Kiriakoutsos, one of the firm’s managing partners. “Court grew up in the area and lends his financial expertise to a number of community organizations while expertly helping individuals and businesses make precise and proactive decisions surrounding their complex financial reporting and technical tax matters.”
Leveraging years of experience in both public accounting and private industry, Klein brings a strong background in technical accounting matters in areas such as revenue recognition, business combinations, complex equity and debt transactions, internal financial reporting standards (IFRS), and equity compensation. His specialized knowledge and experience also includes consulting on M&A transactions, internal control advisory projects, and performing audits under Government Auditing Standards, including A-133 audits. Klein has served clients in a variety of industries, including advanced manufacturing, real estate and construction, professional services, high technology and colleges and universities.
Klein earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Michael’s College, where he graduated cum laude. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants. Klein plays an active role in NH’s technology ecosystem. He’s a member of the NH High Tech Council and provides discounted services to start-up companies operating out of New Hampshire’s several incubator programs. A passionate community volunteer, Klein is the treasurer for Manchester Moves Inc. and the Manchester Community Music School and is a graduate of Leadership Greater Manchester.
