HRH donates school supplies and backpacks for 23 Manchester-area students

Child Health Services is the pediatric practice of Manchester Community Health Center, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of at-risk children. For the past three years, HRH employees have purchased backpacks and school supplies to donate to CHS to give to Manchester-area students in need. This year, we purchased 23 backpacks, filled them with school supplies, and delivered them to the practice on September 2.

How you can help

Child Health Services at Manchester Community Health Center provides healthcare and other services to 5,600 children at no cost to them. Community support in any way helps ensure all patients have access to primary care and unreimbursed specialty care services, regardless of their ability to pay, insurance status, primary language, or any other barrier to care.

Giving back

This fall, we partnered with Child Health Services in Manchester and Seacoast-area End 68 Days of Hunger to make the start of the school year a little easier for students in need. We selected these organizations that directly help school-age children to be part of more than two-dozen Granite State nonprofit organizations we assist each year. We’re proud of employees from both our Portsmouth and Manchester offices who give back to their communities and the state through donations and volunteering.
