Kara L. Fontaine, CPA and Principal at Howe, Riley & Howe, has been elected to a one-year term on the St. Mary’s Bank Supervisory Committee, an independent body that oversees the credit union’s management and Board of Directors.
“Kara is an accomplished professional who is committed to our community,” said Craig S. Donais, Esq., Chairman of St. Mary’s Bank’s Supervisory Committee. “We happily welcome her and look forward to the contributions she will make to the Committee.”
Fontaine is a summa cum laude graduate of Southern New Hampshire University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 2007. She serves on the Audit Committee for The Granite YMCA and is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Manchester City Library Foundation. Fontaine is also a member of the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
